Free QR code and barcode generators
This page brings together the site's QR code and barcode generators: static QR codes for an address, a Wi-Fi network, a contact card, or a WhatsApp link, and barcodes in the most common commercial formats (EAN-13, Code 128...). All share the same principle: every code produced is automatically re-scanned before being offered for download, never just generated and assumed valid without checking.
Why automatic verification
A QR code or barcode can look fine to the eye while being unreadable by an actual scanner: a logo that's too large, colours too close to each other, or a background darker than the modules can all be enough to make a scan fail. Rather than letting you discover the problem after the code is printed, every generation is immediately re-decoded by an independent software reader: a "readability verified" badge confirms the code works, or a message explains why it doesn't.
Static QR codes only
Every QR code generated here contains the final information directly (an address, text, Wi-Fi credentials...), never a redirect link going through our servers: the code will keep working indefinitely, even if this site were to disappear one day. That's a deliberate choice, at the cost of not being able to track scan counts or change the destination after printing — two features specific to so-called "dynamic" QR codes, outside this tool's scope.
Barcodes and the check digit
For commercial formats (EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A), the final check digit is calculated automatically if you don't know it, or verified if you already enter one: an incorrect digit is flagged immediately rather than silently corrected, to avoid printing an invalid code without noticing.
